Since its establishment, CARIRI has become a widely recognized centre of excellence, leading and serving through innovation and technology and is committed to local and regional development.
Owned by the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, CARIRI was established with the technical and financial assistance from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
Equipped with the most advanced equipment, we are highly capable of serving a wide range of industries – including but not limited to – the petrochemical, biotechnical, environmental, manufacturing, agribusiness, tourism and ICT among others.
CARIRI houses multimillion dollar, modern laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained specialist professionals, technologists, technicians, consultants and researchers and have thus been able to provide solutions to Caribbean industries, businesses and small entrepreneurs, while making great strides in keeping the environment safe.
