Innovation Incubator

The innovation incubator provides individuals and start-ups with the support needed to transform their ideas into a prototype or proof of concept. The incubator screens applicants to identify those with the passion to succeed and a credible business proposition; then provides the training, technical, and business support to create a prototype which can then be taken to commercialization. At the end of this process, the entrepreneur will have a prototype which can be marketed and further refined to commercial products.

The innovation incubator also serves as the technical executing agency for the i2i program organized by the Council for Competitiveness and Innovation (CCI) of the Ministry of Planning and Sustainable Development. In this role, it provides business, technical, and procurement support for the awardees for the grant project monitoring/reporting for the CCI.
