Sharon Peart-Rose - Food Technologist

Food Technologist Sharon Peart-Rose brings first class academic credentials and valuable experience in Jamaica’s private sector to her work with CARIRI’s Biotechnology Unit.

She holds a BSc degree in Chemistry and Management (1st Class Honours) from UWI, Mona Campus and is currently pursuing an MSc degree in Food Science and Technology from UWI, St Augustine.

Before joining CARIRI, Mrs Peart-Rose worked for almost eight years in Jamaica’s food and beverage industry, as Lab/Quality Assurance Manager with Jamaica Livestock Association Fees Ltd, Environmental and Quality Control Manager with Coca-Cola (Jamaica) Ltd and as Quality Control Manager with Serge Island Dairies (Jamaica) Ltd.
