Gerard Rajkumar - Environment Specialist

Environment Specialist Gerard Rajkumar cares deeply about health and the environment and understands these issues from a private sector perspective.

He has a B.Sc. Analytical Chemistry and M.Sc. Natural Resources Management from UWI and a valuable and varied work experience that has taken him from the Institute of Marine Affairs and environmental engineering and services companies, to a concrete manufacturer and an oil refinery.

With AHERA certificates for Initial Building Inspection for Asbestos and Initial Management Planning for Asbestos and a General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health, Rajkumar is helping the Environment Unit expand its services to clients and helping companies comply with the law and ensure a safe environment.

 

A highly qualified Environmental Engineer, Mitra Ramlakhan has trained in, lectured on and practised the environmental and safety techniques that he now imparts to CARIRI’s clients.

He has a B.Sc. Chemical Engineering and M.Sc. Environmental Engineering from UWI. He has also pursued practical training in safety and environmental monitoring techniques, is a certified AHERA Asbestos Inspector and Management Planner, and has worked as a Logging Geologist and Environmental Services Consultant.
