Annabelle Thomas-Stroude - Analytical Chemist
Analytical Chemist Annabelle Thomas-Stroude helps CARIRI maintain its regional reputation for quality.
She holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from UWI. She has attended internationally recognised quality management training programmes and is a Certified Quality Manager (ASQ).
Stroude has also attended intensive environmental training in Canada and the US and implemented and operated the quality management system in CARIRI’s Petroleum Laboratory. Recruited from the private sector where she was the Production Manager/Chemist at Chem Clean Ltd, she assists the Quality Manager in operating CARIRI’s own quality systems.
Eka Rudder-Fairman - Analytical Chemist

In addition to a B.Sc. General (Natural Sciences), she also holds a M.Phil. Analytical Chemistry from UWI for which she studied mycoflora and mycotoxins in peanuts, rice and corn; analytical method development; and fungal isolation and mycotoxin productivity studies.
Responsible for supervising the operations of the Petroleum Laboratory, she is highly skilled in laboratory techniques and instrumentation, including Chromatography (GC, HPLC, TLC), Natural Gas Analysis by GC Methods, Flow Injection Analysis, Microbiological Techniques and Spectroscopic Analysis.
