EMA Water Pollution Rules

Temperature, Dissolved Oxygen, pH, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Total Suspended Solids, Total Oil and Grease, Ammoniacal Nitrogen, Total Phosphorus, Sulphide, Chloride, Total Residual Chlorine, Dissolved Hexavalent, Chromium, Total Chromium, Dissolved Iron, Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons, Total Nickel, Total Copper, Total Zinc, Total Arsenic, Total Cadmium, Total Mercury, Total Lead, Total Cyanide, Phenolic Compounds, Toxicity and Solid Waste. 

Liquid Effluent

Organic Contaminants (e.g. BTEX, MTBE, Napthalene) and Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) for Heavy Metals. 

Accreditation

The management system of CARIRI has been assessed and certified by SGS as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 for the following activities:Consulting, industrial research and testing and equipment design and development. CARIRI has been certified by SGS to the ISO 9001 standard since January 1999.

The laboratories of CARIRI have demonstrated compliance with the ANSI/ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard, General criteria for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, and have been accredited by the International 

Accreditation Service Inc. for the test methods listed in the scope of accreditation at IASonline.org.

CARIRI's laboratories have had a history of international accreditation since 1997.
