CARIRI is the forerunner in air quality monitoring services in Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean. We are the only organization in the region that provides an extensive range of indoor and outdoor (ambient) air quality management services. CARIRI conforms to only standard protocols and procedures, such as those of the US Environmental Protection Agency, to ensure quality, reliability and traceability of all our results. This adherence to quality transcends from sampling to analysis to reporting, and includes both calibration of instrumentation and further verification of these calibrations. In addition to air quality, our monitoring also encompasses all the parameters involved in assessing total environmental quality (both indoor and outdoor) such as noise, vibration, lighting (illumination) and heat stress monitoring. We have also expanded to include the area of air and swab sampling for microbial analysis as part of our tools for investigation.
Our reports are accepted by courts, by international organizations and by environmental management agencies across the region. Some of our clients across the Caribbean include petrochemical and energy-based companies, banks, insurance companies, hotels, schools and varying government ministries.

The management system of CARIRI has been assessed and certified by SGS as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 for the following activities:Consulting, industrial research and testing and equipment design and development. CARIRI has been certified by SGS to the ISO 9001 standard since January 1999.
The laboratories of CARIRI have demonstrated compliance with the ANSI/ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard, General criteria for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, and have been accredited by the International
Accreditation Service Inc. for the test methods listed in the scope of accreditation at IASonline.org.
CARIRI's laboratories have had a history of international accreditation since 1997.
