
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for the development and implementation of human resource management systems for the Institute. The portfolio encompasses a full range of human resource services, with emphasis on human resource development and performance measurement and rewards.
The successful applicant must have a relevant first degree and post-graduate training in Human Resource Management. Experience at a senior level in a multidisciplinary environment will be a distinct advantage.

The Executive Manager Analytical and Engineering Services will be accountable for ensuring that the goals and objectives of the Analytical and Engineering Services Division align with CARIRI’s 2011 to 2015 Strategic plan and are successfully achieved.
The candidate will focus on and take full accountability for planning, directing facilitating and managing the Institute’s testing and consultancy services in areas including, but not limited to, Civil and Central Analytical Services, Technology Sourcing and Assessment, Tecnology Incubation, as well as the support provided by distinct sections including Quality Management, Project Management, Facilities, IT/Documentation and Calibration. This includes developing and managing budgets, sourcing and allocating relevant resources, and providing leadership and technical support to the Team.
The Executive manager- Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) will be accountable for ensuring the goals and objectives of the RDI Programmes align with CARIRI’s 2011 to 2015 Strategic Plan and are successfully achieved.
The candidate will focus on and take full accountability for the planning, development, implementation and timely execution of the Institute’s RDI Programmes with the support of the Programme Management Team.
