Meghnath Gosein has considerable expertise in training; conducting and preparing marketing, feasibility and strategic plans; and business proposal development. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture and a M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics, majoring in marketing and agribusiness management. He also has a MBA from Herroit University in Scotland. Before joining CARIRI, he was Manager-Marketing and Research at the Agricultural Development Bank. He has also worked as a loans officer with Republic Bank, and lectured part-time at UWI where he also held the position of Facilitator for Training Programmes. Among his many consultancy projects, Gosein has conducted diagnostic studies of the rice, fruit and livestock feed industries, developed proposals for fruit and food processing companies, and consulted on the development of Timberline Hotel Resort.
